This is pure fun! My micro-chapbook, You Break What Falls, is available through the Origami Poems Project. What is a micro-chapbook, you might ask? In this case, it consists of six short poems on one sheet of paper, folded (hence origami) to form a chapbook. You may download it, free of charge, here: http://www.origamipoems.com/poets/236-robert-okaji
Oh, yes. Folding instructions are on the Origami Poems Project site.
How wonderful, congrats…
Take care and happy blogging to ya, from Laura ~

It seems a rather whimsical way to spread around poetry, which is of course to my nature.

Robert, I think so too… it’s magical in nature with the folding of the pages.. and the amazingly written words of your poetry. Thanking you kindly the sharing with us a part of you. I feel forever blessed for the gift you gave…

Wonderful, George. It is intriguing, isn’t it? I was compelled to send the poems to them right after I stumbled upon their site.

I’m going to fold it into a Chinese character and then photograph it for you and Mary Tang…after I read it.

Nice job! Last year I did one called “Stream” and it was one of the most popular pieces on my table at RVA Zinefest. People (me included) love these l’il things!

That’s cool. I don’t have a printer though, so I’ll have to go to the library and print. Looking forward to the hard copy of your other chap book (I think you said it will be out later this year?).

Awesome idea, and your chapbook proper, with its attendant word art, lends itself to an ancillary art form like origami. Congratulations, Robert!
