I’m not a fan of enjambement but you use it to good effect. The crane and the pine tree are symbols of longevity – may your poetry be long living.

such a beautiful poem, Robert. a sense of holding one’s breath lest more snow fall or a bird ruffle feathers and whether such delicacy might change the course of the universe, like the butterfly (effect)

Thank you, Belinda. As I saw it, Hokusai’s piece offered a “frozen” moment in time.

I enjoy your poetry. You know, I believe we all see one or non-duality in our own unique way and our duty, purpose or divinity is to express that one in how we see it.
As that, to me, is the reason why non-duality is. It is so “what is”, which is non-duality can see it itself. Once you see it in that way, you see it 10,000 ways.
If you look at it from a view of a God. Then God is nothing more then non-duality and since everything is a reflection of non-duality then the thought of a God is the everything we can’t know because we can’t know everything. At our best we can be, and being we are one with everything. So again, we are a expression of God or non-duality and Gpd or non duality looks to see itself and that is why we are.
I’m apologize for rambling on your post. It’s just nice to be on the company of others all looking at the same thing.
