Thank you, Robert. I saved it for future reference. It would be great for an English class. I’m a substitute/replacement teacher, so I never know when I could be in a particular class. đ

I’ve never seen a format like this! Awesome! Can’t wait to print and fold it. Hopefully, my idiot-prone fingers won’t make any mistakes…

Thank you, DJ. And if your fingers make mistakes, you can always print another one!

It’s a fun format, and is my second micro-chapbook with Origami Poems Project. The first is available on their site, too.

What a beautiful work, Robert. I can now cry with the poets’ own lament, and continue to be always inspired by your artistry and generosity.

There are a handful of publishers using this format, but to the best of my knowledge, Origami Poems Project has the most established track record and largest catalog of published works. I’m so pleased they took on this particular piece.

Awesome, Bob! I did try following the origami instructions but failed. Pleased however to discover I could make it into a conventional book format! For something so small, it’s very elegant. Thank you!

I failed in my first, uh, 17 attempts or so. đ

Now I feel better! Anyway, the poems are lovely, meditative.

Wow! Mazel tov on this terrific accomplishment, and thanks for sharing it with us! My son is a talented Origami artist, so I’ll have him carry out the instructions for me, so I can appreciate this in all its glory! I’ll let you know how it goes!

Lovely idea. Do you mind if I make one with my own poems?

Who am I to mind? It’s a great format, isn’t it?

That was so fun. I had to watch the instructions about ten times.

I watched the instructions multiple times, and finally said the hell with it and just folded the thing. đ But I’m not very bright.

This is simply brilliant. There is such a sense of ownership in producing the book. Thank you for sharing.

I wish I could take credit for the idea, but I do embrace it. And yes, a certain sense of community occurs in producing each copy. Love it!
