About

A poet considers the intersections of language and numbers, connections between disparate entities – the currents stirring within the Phoenician iteration of our letter M and the Japanese character for water, mizu, or the intertwined strands of solar wind and shadows, black-chinned hummingbirds and  coastal death rituals – all, of course, while contemplating good food and that most magnificent of elixirs, beer, which may have been the very foundation of civilization. Or not.

  1. I’m ashamed I’ve never read this Robert! I do enjoy it, and am glad I took the time to read it on this beautiful sun filled afternoon. I must thank you as well – I appreciate you stopping by often to experience my creative endeavors

  2. Hi Robert, thanks for your like. I was responding to a news item (in Australia) and that post was kind of forced out of me. (Mental health is a curly one.) It didn’t really fit with the intention of our shiny new blog, so I moved it from a post to a page. The challenges of parenting and depression can have another platform…

I’ve been reading, enjoying and empathising with your writing. Writing is about reading after all. it’s nice to be blogging and sharing.

      • No not at all, always a bit dubious in tagging people in things due to time restrictions or if it will work for them. I think it was more to connect with you who were one of my first followers. Thanks for the reply, and no, no disappointment could you incur 😉

  9. Hello. Our food labels are very important. Canada and Mexico claim our meatpackers don’t want to bother with labeling cows and pigs for their markets. Don’t be fooled. Repealing the bill will make it worse for us. They’re always making excuses for doing what’s right. So, tell all your friends and family to vote NO on this issue. You can write your Senator or go on Consumer Report’s web site and vote. I have done so. Take care now.
