About

A poet considers the intersections of language and numbers, connections between disparate entities – the currents stirring within the Phoenician iteration of our letter M and the Japanese character for water, mizu, or the intertwined strands of solar wind and shadows, black-chinned hummingbirds and  coastal death rituals – all, of course, while contemplating good food and that most magnificent of elixirs, beer, which may have been the very foundation of civilization. Or not.

  1. Thank you for liking a couple of posts on my blog. I enjoy writing words but really don’t have much education in poetry. I can’t read Po’s originals. The web translation is uninteresting and stilted. Your words are a pleasure to read and contemplate.

  2. I am but a child in this literary world, but drinking in the energy from so many (past and present) and exploring my own expanding universe. Learning each and every day. Thankyou for bringing me here. Reminds me of this quote. “The teacher arrives, when the student is ready”.

  3. Robert, thank you so much for appreciating what I’m up to in this world… it really helps to know that even one person ‘gets’ what’s at the heart of a post and this is the cosmic fire, fuel, for keeping on keeping on. I am grateful for you and equally appreciative of your thoughts…

  4. Thank you for liking my poem, “Nerve Damage.” It’s a boon for me as I begin to show my work for everyone to see, that those whose work has been recognized as well done, would take the time to read and like my little offering.

  5. I want to thank you for dropping by my blog site: kauaiartist.wordpress.com. You made my day. I am busy as a local artist here on Kauai, Hawaii, and so I don’t get to spend a lot of time on the computer these days. I am not complaining, mind you. I love that in my September years I get to be an artist and not punch a clock. But what that means is I don’t get to spend my time chatting as I used to.

So, thank you again for coming by and please, drop by often. I write poems very often on a myriad of subjects. I also thank you for sharing them as many of you have said you are doing. I want the words to get out there. One never knows who they are helping, do they?
