The link to my two poems appearing in Kindle Magazine was damaged and readers were unable to access them. Kindle Magazine has kindly corrected the link to make them available again. These poems, with two others, also appear in the print collection Gossamer: An Anthology of World Poetry, published by Kindle Magazine this past December.

Beautiful writing, as usual. You must have an archive falling out the windows of a warehouse.

Thanks, Mek. I’m always slightly surprised and very pleased when something gets accepted for publication. Rejection is so much more the norm. 🙂

Here’s to life’s surprises 😊. It’s quite touching (i have agonised over the right word to use here) that you feel that way when the view from here is ‘what? Rejections? Did they even read your submissions??’

Ha! I probably have a success rate of 10-15%, meaning I’ll receive an acceptance once or twice out of every ten submissions. Most of it gets published eventually, but it’s a slow process. 🙂

Nope. And I’m grateful for each one. Publishers have tough jobs.

I enjoyed your two poems on Kindle: A chicken recipe with soul and a reflection on the ever changing clouds. So you. 🙂

I’ve been asked to not post them for six months. I see that the link no longer leads to my poems. I’ll ask if that can be reset.

These are both so satisfying; there’s some proverb about a painted meal providing no sustenance but your alimentary odes give the lie to that. And I have to say, if I wrote the lines “trussing is essential / to the goal of proper / temperature attainment” I’d spend quite some time afterwards grinning at myself. (Well, I grinned reading them, too.)

Thanks, SJ. Trust the truss. Or something like that. 🙂
