It sure does and deservedly so! I can’t wait to get hold of your last couple of books/chapbooks! (Shipping to and availability in Canada continues to be a problem)

minimalist, sometimes cryptic, and infinitely philosophical— now that’s a tagline!
Congrats!!

Such wonderful news! Meanwhile, I *just* received my copy of that gorgeous, beautifully made 1/300 books. Wow, wow, wow. It’s a work of art all on its own.

I’ve been incredibly lucky the past year. And yes, the book as artifact is a work of art. Such a lovely design!

It’s so gratifying to receive a review from someone who “gets me.” And I just ordered a copy of To Tune the Beast!

It’s so unusual, in my experience. I’m more likely to receive one saying “the poet is arrogant” or the poems lack emotion…

Those are strange reactions to your work. I never see arrogance and I always feel emotion.

They puzzle me, too. You can’t please everyone!

Good to see justified attention to your work I’d say.
As to the shows no emotion reviews: I suppose poems can work all kinds of ways, but I’m generally distrustful of poems that are too direct in calling for a distinct emotional reaction from the reader. A poem such as your marvelous “How to Do Nothing” included in the review causes me to see and think along with the poem, and an empathic emotion is minted freshly when reading.

I dislike poetry that explicitly tells me how to feel. I’d much rather find my own way through the unfilled and perhaps implied space the poets offer.
