Thanks, Michael. One of the best pieces of advice I’ve received is to consider your work as part of an extended conversation. Submit to those publications whose writers and aesthetics you’d like to converse with. Seems to work.

A trip on a train, huh…It felt like I was focusing on so many vivid details on a train ride while I was reading that poem! Freaking nuts! I haven’t rode trains a lot, though. The last time I rode one was…on a city rail transit, during my childhood years.
