Moths
Small moths stir
in the darkness.
I feel their
wings brush my
face, my hands,
remembering the cry
of something unseen.
It is windy
again this morning.

Many Native Americans consider moths a symbol of transformation, healing and prayer, and moth cocoons are used as sacred rattles in some tribes. In other tribes, moths are associated with death and ghosts and may bring messages from the spirit world. You seem to capture that symbolism in the poem.

change is coming, very neatly penned. The wind being the change, you know it is there, you know it is coming but you don’t always know where it is coming from.

Ok, suuuure….well I’ll keep trying now and then! I mostly write memoir but now and then a poem (“poem?”) torments me until I type it out 🙂
