A handful of my poems have been published since January, and in the grip of my illness I did not properly acknowledge the publications. I hope to make up for this, at least in part, by providing links to these journals.
My poems “Another Night at the Breach,” “At World’s Edge,” and “Cactus Needle” were published at The Globe Review this past spring. I am grateful to editor Blanka Pillar for taking these pieces.
Love these meditative poems – succinct, lyrical, the voice in them one I could happily listen to/read many times. Congrats again, Bob!

“conscious of the plan never followed”–I can so identify with that. There is a wonderful delicacy to all three. Congratulations! (K)

Three splendid poems again, Robert. ‘Another Night at the Breach’ was a clear favourite.

With my bad eyesight, I read that first poem many are responding to as “Another Night at the BEACH.” As I first read it, I was seeing raccoons fighting over tide-rippled pebbles interrupting Matthew Arnold mansplaining fate to his sweetie on a beach at Dover. Oh well, turns out that was another, not-existing, poem. 🙂
Congratulations on these fine, existing, poems and being a now-existing poet.

Ha!!That poem should be written. And thanks, Frank. It’s good to exist!

All 3 register as reflections on aging … steady increase in curiosity about what’s ahead, steady decline in specific goals. Love your line “sipping coffee, wondering”!

Most of my goals are rather mundane these days, though I still spend an inordinate amount of time sipping coffee, wondering. 😀
