  1. Wow, what a poignant poem! Your closing thoughts in the poem are exactly what I’ve wondered at times. Congrats, Bob – I’m glad this one is out in the world💙

  2. Visualization is perhaps one way those of us embodied in human life-form compensate for inherent human limitations — what follows is a huge mystery – I confess part of me is eager to explore beyond-human-life … even if as some suggest I’ll just be tossed back into a subsequent human existence. (I will have to wait and see, huh?) So glad you’re writing/sharing your perspectives while you anticipate the “cannot picture” approaching. Bravo!

  3. This new work is beautiful, Bob. I especially like that sky and “the ground it beguiles, ,somewhere out of sight.”

The tagline made me smile for its wryness. You living “for the time being ….” in Indiana. May that time be longer and richer than you dared hope.

  4. Bob, I’m deeply moved by the pain and sweetness in these lines, and I hope you know I hold you and Stephanie in my heart. My dad just entered hospice care too, and I find a strange comfort in your words. You are both living so expertly right now, and I’m privileged to be part of your world, even if I wish you were as close geographically as my folks are. But Candy sent me photos from your visit, and that was vicariously wonderful!
