I am thrilled that Indianapolis Review has published two of my recent poems, “The Over/Under” and “Bargaining.” I am grateful to editor Natalie Solmer for taking these poems.

Devastatingly, poignantly direct! I like both these, Bob – and congratulations!

Thanks, Lynne. It’s a bit of a strange existence, but we humans can adapt. My goal is to continue to live, to enjoy life and not merely take up space and time, for as long as I can. So far, so good! 🙂

I love that, Bob! And i think enjoying life as long as you can is the best medicine!

Thanks, Tanya. Much appreciated. By the way, I just found your comment in my spam folder. Dunno why it was there, but I thought you should know.

My pleasure. And I should probably check my spam too. Comments just seem to end up there randomly. Go figure.

“There’s always that other hand…” makes me think you wish you could swap tables for a better one. This one has gone cold, as they might say in the casino.
Really good pieces, both of ’em.

Thanks, Rob. I may need to swap casinos!

Ha! Sometimes I think I’d like to be someone else, but that would take too much work. My laziness wins out…

We spend our lives bargaining I think. With all those other hands…
As always, so glad to see your work being recognized. (K)

We do, indeed! Sometimes it’s a coping mechanism, and sometimes it’s entertainment. Ha.

Hi Bob, I am glad you’re still here. Your transparency is humbling, for all the poems I write that hide me. Thank you. We (I am) are honoured by your honesty.
