I am thrilled that Does It Have Pockets has published three of my recent prose poems, “Metastases,” “A Patient Noose,” and “Everywhere But Here.” I am grateful to editor Camille Griep for making space for these poems.

All three of these are great. The prose poem form works so well for them. The lines gathering speed and density in paragraph form.

Thanks, Alison. I’ve enjoyed playing around with the form. It’s so odd for me not to consider line breaks. 😀

Yes, the lack of line breaks give the poems an undeniable sense of everything happening all at once. Powerful, that sense.
