My poems “When to Say Goodbye” and “I Praise the Moon, Even When She Laughs” are live at Does It Have Pockets. Many thanks to Camille Griep and the Does It Have Pockets team for taking these previously published pieces and offering them new life.

I will never not be head over heels in love with the man who voiced these poems… Bravissimo, amore mio!

Thanks, Lynne. So much has happened since they were originally published a lifetime ago. Or is it two lifetimes? Ha.

Great to read both of these again.
Also enjoying your book His Windblown Self and love that it closes with “Continuing”. The older I get the frailer my body but I sense a steady strengthening of spirit … your poetry stokes such. Thanks!

So good to hear from you, Jazz. There was never any doubt about which poem would end the collection. It just had to be.

Two really good poems. The first, in particular, so apt now.

It’s wonderous how these poems from years ago step up to speak again now. These two poems of yours inspire me to get back to work on some incomplete or needing-revision poems.

Individual poems published in lit mags have such short shelf-lives! I’m thrilled when I come upon publishers willing to feature previously published pieces, especially when the original publishers no longer exist.
