  1. “Everything has its story” — that is the absolute essence of your poetry’s appeal. I love how you leave no stone unturned. Also, that Roland Barthes quotation is great; words to live by! 🙂

    • At the very least, I never lack subject material! The quote is from “Empire of Signs,” and refers to Japanese street systems, but it has taken on multiple meanings for me over the years, and has become, in essence, my motto. 🙂

  2. Helter Skelter, eh? You sure it’s not Pride and Joy (SRV’s version) or, gosh, I don’t know too many artists in the genres you’ve mentioned . . . maybe “Closer to Fine”? (don’t know if you like Indigo Girls or not) Anyway, continuing congratulations, Bob, for your hard work and thoughtful (but not thought-clogged or -addled) poetry.
