A handful of my poems have been published since January, and in the grip of my illness I did not properly acknowledge the publications. I hope to make up for this, at least in part, by providing links to these journals.
My poems “In That Moment of Clarity,” “Hearse, Departing,” and “In This Gray Morning I Think of Hiroshige” were published at The Big Windows Review in March. I am grateful to editor Thomas Zimmerman for taking these poems,
I read them at the time – great poems Robert!

These heartbreakers make me want to tune into your oeuvre in earlier seasons. Not that these aren’t gorgeous and moving. Is it better to order from you or through my favorite independent bookseller? (back to work now) are all your popsicles raspberry?

Hi Lida! I’ll reply at length later, via email. The popsicles vary: mango, lime, lemon, strawberry, tangerine. I like them all!

Congratulations on the publication Bob (I’m not calling you Robert anymore!). A beautiful and potent collection/composition of poems. “I stand sweating in the emptiness” stops me in my tracks (especially where it sits in the group), cutting to the soul… the final two lines of In This Gray Morning I Think of Hiroshige… wow. I read it all in body of moon body of light. The images throughout are amazing…

You may call me anything you like, but as the saying goes, just don’t call me late for dinner. And lately I’ve been eating everything in sight. Which is good, I think.

All three poems struck a chord with me. Thank you! Then I followed the trail of poems and ended up buying Buddha’s Not Talking. Funny how these things happen.

I’m so pleased the poems resonated with you. And thanks for ordering the book!

Most taken by “Moment of Clarity” in that fine trio of poems. Its concluding sentence, what it says, works so well.
Wishing you a day.

Thanks, Frank. It’s been another good day. Steph and I ate ice cream at our favorite turtle-watching spot. Hard to beat that!
