Small moths stir
in the darkness.
I feel their

wings brush my
face, my hands,
remembering the cry

of something unseen.
It is windy
again this morning.

  1. Liked it before, like it even more. Reading it again made me realize I always associate moths with the subconscious, ephemeral things that flutter up from the darkness to the light like thought.

  2. I love how this poem gives me so many different images and feelings though it seems to really only be about one or two. That is really well written and I get this fluttering like feel while reading it like moths flying around.
