Bonsai
no feature enhanced
but beauty of
the whole and
its container the
tree is not
deprived and grows
as it must
though slowly like
a wave which
gathers itself for
years there is
no completion only
process a lapse
which presumes the
most delicate design

Very calming, sigh….

Thanks, Dan. I think we could all use a little calm.

Beautiful bonsai, I have one too and just looking at it brings calm, much needed in these strange times!

I love the idea of bonsai, but the last one I had died through neglect, and I don’t want to follow that path again. I’m horrible with plants.

They are temperamental aren’t they. They seem to be easy to kill. I thought mine was dead too! Thankfully it came back to life recently. Dont feel bad about it, they are notoriously moody.

They certainly are! And with my black thumb, they don’t stand a chance.
